A veteran-owned technology company built on three decades of real-world experience and a lifelong commitment to doing things right.
I'm Peter Rohrman, founder of Tomahawk Internet Technologies. I grew up in the 1980s as a latchkey kid in Carlstadt, NJ — a town where grit and self-reliance weren't optional. Those early years shaped everything that followed.
In 1989 I joined the U.S. Marine Corps as an Infantry Platoon Sergeant. I was meritoriously promoted to Corporal in 1991 and Sergeant in 1994, and served during Operation Desert Storm. The Corps taught me leadership, accountability, and the discipline to see hard things through to completion.
After my service I pursued Computer Science at Rutgers University and NJIT, working my way through school while building hands-on experience in the technology industry. What followed was nearly 30 years of network engineering, operations leadership, and communications infrastructure at companies ranging from national ISPs to pan-European carriers.
In 2023 I founded Tomahawk Internet Technologies to make enterprise-grade technology accessible to small and mid-sized businesses — and to build software that actually solves real problems.

The name Tomahawk has personal meaning. It comes from a childhood memory of spending Sundays at Lindberg Field in Carlstadt watching my father Ben Rohrman's softball team — The Tomahawks — play through the 1960s, '70s, and early '80s. My older brother Michael played on the team. My father passed away before I was old enough to join.
Starting Tomahawk Internet Technologies is my way of honoring those Sunday mornings at the ballpark — the teamwork, the dedication, and the time with my father. The name reminds me why I work as hard as I do.
